He stated, “People are very much interested in alternative therapies, especially Ayurvedic medicines and treatments, not only in Moscow but in entire Russia.
Although it is a big market, we are yet handicapped because Ayurveda is yet not an approved medical system in Russia. We request PM Modi to take this up with Russian authorities so that Ayurveda gets approval from the Health Department of the Russian Federation. It will be a big boost to Ayurvedic pharmacy.”
Despite the significant market potential, Ayurveda remains unapproved in Russia. The doctor emphasized that gaining approval from the Health Department of the Russian Federation would significantly boost the Ayurvedic pharmacy industry.

Modi will arrive in Moscow in the late afternoon.

July 9:
Modi’s schedule includes direct interactions with the Indian community in Russia.
He will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin.
Following this, Modi will visit the Rosatom pavilion at the exhibition venue in Moscow.
Restricted-level talks between Modi and Putin will precede delegation-level discussions. Kwatra noted that discussions will cover issues such as the early discharge of Indian nationals who have been misled into Russian Army service.
Later in the afternoon, Modi will depart for Vienna, Austria.
July 9 and 10:
In Austria, Modi will meet with the President of Austria and engage in restricted and delegation-level talks, along with participating in high-level business engagements.
Modi is also scheduled to hold talks with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
